The drive is simpler than the map makes it look
North Charleston to Mount Pleasant is essentially one highway. The Mark Clark takes you east across the Wando and drops you onto Highway 17, with no peninsula traffic and free parking waiting at the other end.
What you arrive at is a boutique room: Balanced Body Allegro 2 reformers, eight people maximum, forty-five-minute classes that finish with a proper stretch series. Every instructor is fully certified, and every class is adapted to the people in it.
Weekend mornings are popular with clients from this side. Classes run 9:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday and 10:00am to 12:00pm on Sunday, and Sullivan’s Island and Isle of Palms are a short drive further east once you are done.
Three ways to train
Reformer classes
Forty-five minutes, eight people maximum, seven days a week. Four for $150 or eight for $260, valid thirty days.
Private sessions
Forty-five minutes shaped entirely around you. Eight for $680, twelve for $990, valid six months.
New here? Start with two group classes for $50, including a full equipment orientation on your first visit. More about the studio on our Mount Pleasant reformer page.
East on the Mark Clark, then onto Highway 17
Take 526 east across the Wando River, then south on Highway 17 to S. Shelmore Blvd, which sits between Highway 17 and Mathis Ferry Road. The studio is in Suite 104 with free parking directly outside.
Because it is highway most of the way, your timing depends on the hour rather than the distance. Weekend mornings are the easy run.

Can I combine a weekend class with a trip to the beach?
Plenty of people do. Weekend classes run 9:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday and 10:00am to 12:00pm on Sunday, and Sullivan’s Island and Isle of Palms are a short drive east of the studio. Book the earlier slot and the rest of the day is yours.
I have never used a reformer. Where do I start?
Either the two-class intro for $50, which includes a full equipment orientation on your first visit, or a private session first if you would rather learn the machine one to one before joining a group.
Two classes for $50
Any group reformer class on the schedule, with a full equipment orientation on your first visit.
